Nyt tiles unlimited10/21/2023 ![]() So, if anyone here is looking for specific app recommendations for Picross/Nonogram, let me save you some time and trouble (I only use iOS, so I don’t know whether any of this applies to Android as well, apologies)! I only discovered this style of puzzle ~4 years ago, and looking at my App Store history I’ve now tried 10 different apps (might have become somewhat obsessed with them, and been unsatisfied in various ways with almost all the apps I tried…). ![]() It feels totally different to Vertex-style games though, but I think it does fall into using a similar corner of my brain, and I think people who enjoy one might enjoy the other. Though I really wish they had the option to do an in-app purchase to get rid of the ads… I’m willing to do that for almost every app that I enjoy playing (provided the cost is reasonable!) to reduce my annoyance level as well as to support the developer, and I’m actually shocked any time a developer chooses not to offer this quality-of-life improvement for the user, and easy source of revenue for them!Įither way - can’t write more, must draw triangles □□▶️□◀️□ □ĭefinitely second this! (Very belatedly, I know…) Chances are currently 50/50 whether I do that anyway… but having a dedicated app without the one-a-day limit for Vertex-style gameplay at least is definitely a good thing! I only just discovered Vertex via the NYT yesterday, and am already disappointed I can’t play past the tutorial unless I pay for the games sub. This is the thread that continues to deliver! I know it’s another 30 days since the other comment from CertainAmountOfLife, but I’ve just downloaded and only played the first level, but I like it very much so far □
